The Highlawn Pavillion Wedding of Aurora and Paul

Aurora and Paul started their wedding day getting ready at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston NJ. Millie and I were with Aurora and the girls, while German and Dave were with Paul and the guys. Aurora got upset when she realized she had forgotten her tiara all the way back at home. The bridesmaids swung into action to ensure a replacement was found nearby, and luckily they found one. Of course everyone reminded her that if this were the worse thing that happened, it wasn’t that bad at all 😉 Meanwhile the guys were busy leaping off a bench outside the lobby, haha.

After everyone got ready we headed off to the ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nutley. The reception followed at The Highlawn Pavillion in West Orange at the Eagle Rock Reservation. We even got to tour the wine cellar for some great shots. It was a nice day for a white wedding 😉

The Elan Wedding of Janelle and Mark

For a moment I thought there was going to be a Beauty and the Beast theme because of Janelle’s slight obsession with Disney, plus it was their cake topper. However, while Janelle is a beauty, Mark isn’t really a beast 😉 I started filming with Janelle and the girls at her mom’s place, while Dave was with Mark and the guys at their place. The ceremony was held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Pompton Lakes NJ, and then we stopped at Lambert’s Castle in Paterson NJ for some great bridal party and couple shots. Finally the reception was held at The Elan in Lodi NJ where the couple started things off by entering in matching Giants jerseys. A great reception and a great couple.

The Meadow Wood Manor Wedding of Alejandra and Christopher

Alejandra and Chris are young and in love, and I was so happy to be a part of their day. She was HUGE smiles all day, and while he was a tiny bit nervous he was smiling all day too. Boy did she do her research. Her room had STACKS of wedding books and magazines. This was only 1 camera coverage so it was just me, and I started with Alejandra at her parents home in Hackettstown NJ. Then it was off to the ceremony at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (wow that’s a mouthful), also in Hackettstown. Afterwards we went straight to the Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph NJ for a very sweet and fun daytime wedding. Whoever thinks daytime weddings can’t be as fun, does not know this crowd. It’s all about the music and the crowd, so let the sun shine! Check out their highlights, and if you’re interested in capturing your day too contact me at Creative Unlimited for more info.

LBI Engagement Shoot

Nina and Andrew booked us for their wedding in August 2013, plus added an engagement shoot. They wanted to do it by his place down in Long Beach Island NJ, right by the beach. What a beautiful location!! Andrew informed me not to worry about breaking any rules because he was the Governor, haha, so we were off to a great start.

We got some romantic shots on the beach, and thanks to her wedding planner (and friend) we even had some great props like huge balloons, and a picnic area. We stopped at the local amusement center for a few more fun shots before the day was through. Such a fun and romantic couple. Check out a short sample from their shoot below.

The Imperia in Somerset Wedding of Caitlin and Matt

We filmed Caitlin’s brother Eric’s wedding a year before, and they loved the video, so as soon as she and Matt were engaged they contacted us. We started with them each getting ready. Then they met at the Imperia for family and bridal party shots before the ceremony. The ceremony was outdoors in the back of the Imperia decorated nicely with flowers under a beautiful chuppah. It was a mixed christian/jewish ceremony. It was followed the only way it could be with an awesome reception featuring the Smokin’ Section Band. The Imperia is just around the corner from our office.
