Shirley and Vivek – Wedding at the Excelsior Grand

Shirley and Vivek were married on a beautiful day (despite a little rain) in August on Staten Island, and we were there to capture it. Starting at Shirley’s Parent’s house with her and the girls getting ready, and moving on to the church of the Blessed Sacrament to meet up with Vivek and the guys. The ceremony was traditional Filipino, although a couple of days later we also capture the Indian Ceremony for Vivek’s side of the family. They were all a fun and energetic bunch. The reception was at the Excelsior Grand, my first time there, but the owners also own Addison Park, as I saw some of the same staff there the following day for a different wedding.

The group was a lot of fun, and the reception was a blast. Check out some great clips from their day.

Giovanna and Joe – Wedding at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens

Giovanna and Joe were married at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. It was a beautiful day, and a beautiful location. Other than some hair and makeup delays (my suggestion is always start an hour earlier than you think you need to), the day went very smoothly, and it gave us more time to capture the natural beauty of the location. Giovanna and Joe had a lovely outdoor ceremony featuring several guests pastors delivering some special blessings in Portuguese. Joe even said his vows in Portuguese, a special surprise. The band at the reception was a lot of fun, and it was just a wonderful wedding. Congrats again Giovanna and Joe. Hope you guys are enjoying married life in Florida!! Book sooner than later

While we still have some dates available from now till the end of 2010, we’re already booking as far as July 2011. Dates book up fast, and the sooner you book, the more time you’ll have to spread out your payments, plus you can ensure we’re available. We’ve already had to turn couples away this year, it’s first come first served, and we’re a small company, not a wedding factory.

At Clark’s Landing with Heather and Jeff

It was a sweet and emotional day for our bride and groom. The tears first started when Heather saw her dad for the first time after she was fully dressed. You have to love moments like those, when all the history you have as a family overwhelms you at once and all you can do is try to fight back those tears. The ceremony was at First Presbyterian Church in Matawan, NJ, then the couple headed over to Monmouth University for some great shots with their bridal party. A fun reception followed at the Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, NJ. Congrats to the happy couple 😉
