Rupen’s 50th Birthday at The Imperia on Easton

Check out this awesome video from Rupen’s HUGE 50th Birthday BASH at The Imperia. It was a wild night with some high energy partying, unique entertainment like girls dressed as flowers, a the champagne girl in a crazy skirt that holds champagne glasses, a special drum audience participation performance, and amazing DJ entertainment. We were honored to capture this event for one of the owner’s of The Imperia, one of our favorite reception halls.

The Primavera Regency Wedding of Kristen and William

Check out the wedding highlights from Kristen and William’s wedding at the Primavera Regency in Stirling NJ. We started with Kristen and William getting ready at their homes. Kristen’s family are hunters so the place had several bears and dear heads and even wild boar decorating one trophy room. After our beautiful bride got dressed it was off to the ceremony at St. Agnes Church, followed by portraits back at her parent’s house in their lake view back yard. Very nice! Then it was off to the reception at the Primavera Regency for an awesome evening with a great band and a great party crowd.

The Kolo Klub Hoboken NJ Wedding of Gerry and Timothy

I met Gerry and her mom when they booked, and we had a great time at the appointment. They were recommended by Meredith and Steven whose wedding we did years earlier (they have an adorable little girl now). It was going to be a smaller wedding and at this unique industrial feeling location in Hoboken called the Kolo Klub, to which I had never been.

On the wedding day I started with the girls at the W Hotel in Hoboken NJ. When I first arrived I gave Gerry a call to ask what she was able to see outsider her window, and if she had a balcony. She told me she could see the Hudson, so I knew which side of the hotel she was on and asked her to go stand out on her balcony and wave. Thought it would be a cool shot from down below, and she was joined by her mom and sister. After that I got on up to their room and started covering them finishing up hair and makeup, and getting some detail shots of the dress, shoes, etc.

Pete started with the Guys arriving at the hotel. I swung on down to say hello and meet Tim. I was happy to see that he was and perfect fit for Gerry and a great guy. They met in the Hotel restaurant’s outdoor patio, and then proceeded to take some shots together, with their small bridal party, and then with family outside the hotel. Then it was off to the Kolo Klub for a few more great shots before the ceremony. It was a Jewish Ceremony, very dimly lit for a nice mood, and very personal. Then the staff broke things down while the guests mingled and got some of the cocktail food. They had some delicious passed appetizers, including a yummy plantain empanada.

The was a non-traditional kind of day, so there were no big introductions, but there was a first dance, and some fun toasts. The rest of the night was just dancing dancing dancing, and everyone had a great time. I definitely LOVED the unique factory look of this place, and for a smaller event it was perfect. It was a beautiful day for a fun loving couple 😉

The Grand Colonial Wedding of Katie and Todd

A couple of years earlier we had filmed Katie’s sister Kristen’s wedding at the Westmount Country Club (check it out HERE), so we were excited to be working with the family again for Katie’s wedding. It was great seeing Kristen and Adam again too.

The day started off at the familiar location of Katie’s parent’s home. After the girls got ready I met up with the guys at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Church in Flemington NJ. After the ceremony we took some great bridal party and family portraits outside the church, and then it was off to The Grand Colonial in Hampton NJ for more portraits and of course the reception. It’s a nice place, and they do a great job there. It was a fun wedding complete with a choreographed Zumba dance with the bride and one of her bridesmaids.

NJ Sweet 16 Videography for Caitlin

We were contacted by Caitlin’s parents about their daughter’s Oscar Themed sweet 16. They had some grand ideas for the entrance to the reception at Nanina’s in the Park, the guests pretending to be celebrities and walking the red carpet, doing interviews in front of the sign like a hollywood event. It was A LOT of fun, and we had a helper there to interview the guests. I would feed her questions, sometimes we would say this guy looks like this celebrity, interview him as this celebrity, sometimes we would just get some great quotes about Caitlin. It was clear how much everyone loved her as they all played along so splendidly. Everyone was a ham, haha. We actually produced a Same Day Highlights of the red carpet, like an Oscars intro, a first for us (even after having done it many times for weddings). The crowd LOVED it, and awards were given out for best interview, best dressed, etc. Check out the highlights from the event:
