The Skylands at Randolph Wedding of Danielle and Adam

For Danielle and Adam’s wedding we tried something a little different and interviewed family and bridal party to get some sound bites for the video. As you’ll see in the highlights we got some very sweet comments, along with some funny ones that made it into their full video with outtakes. I started with Danielle and the girls at the salon while the finished up hair and makeup. Her sister did a little jig for us to keep things light. Pete was with Adam and the guys while they got ready, and then it was off to the Ceremony for the most important part of the day. After stopping at the Morristown Green and the Iron Bar for some unique shots with the bridal party, we finished up with family at the Skylands in Randolph where the reception followed. Our thanks to Christine, a past client who recommended us, and who it was great to see at the party.

Here’s what Danielle has to say in her review:

“When I say I searched long and hard for a videographer…I mean I searched LONG and HARD for a videographer. I knew exactly what I wanted in terms of style. I was looking for someone who would put together a mesmerizing hour of the highlights of our wedding day without it being boring! I was adamant that the video shift through time and not be images from morning to night in that order. I wanted to hear audio over different video…I wanted it to be captivating – a work of art. Well, Eric understood what I was looking for upon our first meeting, because he is an artist and produces videos this way. I had a few special requests, which he incorporated into my video to make it more personal and special. He truly brought my vision to life and put together the most phenomenal video! Plus, he was awesome to work with! Trust me, you want someone that you get along with and who is not invasive since you will be spending all day with them! My husband was anti-video so was not involved in the selection process but when we got the video, he was beyond impressed. We have watched it together more than 5 times since we got it (about four months ago) and have shown it additional times to friends and family. Everyone has the same reaction – tears…and applause at the end. The best part is that now my husband tells every person that we know who is getting married, “get a video” and recommends Creative Unlimited. He is so thankful that we had a videographer since he says not only gets to re-live the day (since it goes by so fast!) but also that he got to see the wonderful moments that we missed. I couldn’t have been more pleased with Creative Unlimited.” – Danielle (As seen on WeddingWire)

The Grove Wedding Trailer for Jeannie and Dennis

Jeannie and Dennis’ wedding trailer from their day on May 17, 2013. 2 camera coverage of their day started with them getting ready at the Wilshire Grand in West Orange NJ. They had their ceremony at Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark NJ, performed by Jeannie’s cousin, and their reception at The Grove in Cedar Grove NJ. A wedding trailer is an excellent add on, but is also included with our top video package, and ready within 3 weeks of the wedding date. A great way to share the moments with those that couldn’t make it, and to be able to enjoy the day again while waiting for the full video. Check back for their highlights soon.

The Highlawn Pavillion Wedding of Aurora and Paul

Aurora and Paul started their wedding day getting ready at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston NJ. Millie and I were with Aurora and the girls, while German and Dave were with Paul and the guys. Aurora got upset when she realized she had forgotten her tiara all the way back at home. The bridesmaids swung into action to ensure a replacement was found nearby, and luckily they found one. Of course everyone reminded her that if this were the worse thing that happened, it wasn’t that bad at all 😉 Meanwhile the guys were busy leaping off a bench outside the lobby, haha.

After everyone got ready we headed off to the ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nutley. The reception followed at The Highlawn Pavillion in West Orange at the Eagle Rock Reservation. We even got to tour the wine cellar for some great shots. It was a nice day for a white wedding 😉

The Imperia in Somerset Wedding of Caitlin and Matt

We filmed Caitlin’s brother Eric’s wedding a year before, and they loved the video, so as soon as she and Matt were engaged they contacted us. We started with them each getting ready. Then they met at the Imperia for family and bridal party shots before the ceremony. The ceremony was outdoors in the back of the Imperia decorated nicely with flowers under a beautiful chuppah. It was a mixed christian/jewish ceremony. It was followed the only way it could be with an awesome reception featuring the Smokin’ Section Band. The Imperia is just around the corner from our office. The Bridgewater Manor Wedding of Anna and Juan

Anna and Juan are definitely a unique couple. This was Juan’s 2nd marriage, and from speaking with him a few times I could tell he learned a lot from mistakes made in his first marriage, and I could tell he was going to go above and beyond for Anna, including giving her a beautiful wedding. So, they booked us for Photography as well as videography. At first they just got 1 cam coverage but upgraded to 2 cam video when we got closer to the wedding for better coverage. They stuck with 1 photographer, and for their smaller wedding it was more than enough. Since Juan wasn’t interested in having a videographer with him getting ready, we all started with Anna at their home.

She was in excellent spirits and the girls were in full swing finishing up hair and makeup when we arrived. One of my favorite shots was the candy land characters holding their wedding bands.

The Ceremony was St. Francis Episcopal Church in Dunellen NJ, featuring a harpist Anna chose, and the reception followed at the Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater NJ, with a live mariachi band during cocktail hour and sombreros gallore including as centerpieces to celebrate Juan’s Mexican heritage. Everyone had an awesome time and you can see the videos and photos below.

We created this short trailer for them 2 weeks after the wedding:
