Kerry and Paul’s Westmount Country Club Wedding Highlights

Check out this great Highlights clip from Kerry and Paul’s wedding at the Westmount Country Club in West Paterson, NJ. They were really a fun couple. We started at the Hampton Inn Suites in Fairfield, NJ to capture the bride and groom getting ready with their bridal party. The Ceremony and Reception were both at the Westmount in the smaller room. Be sure to check out the great video moment as well of Kerry’s Cousin rocking out. Here’s what Kerry has to say about her video:
“We absolutely loved the video! You and your team did an amazing job. You truly are creative. So many thanks!
-Kerry”

Love Story Video – Wedding Reception Video

Everyone loves a good love story. This is about Rachel and Daniel and how they met. Partly filmed near their home, and partly filmed in Long Branch. It was shown at their wedding on June 28th, 2009 and the crowd absolutely loved it. As I was showing this clip, I was seated on the floor by one of the guest tables, and I heard a guest say, “this is really great, it’s not cheesy, they got a really good videographer”. Nice to overhear a great comment.

RakStar’s Video Moment at the Battleground Country Club

I’m trying something new. We’re going to attempt to post a wedding video moment from recent weddings once in a while. I can’t promise it’ll always happen, cause seriously, we’re busy, but I thought it would be a fun little way to share the value, fun, and entertainment of video once in a while.

This entry is from Starla and Raktim’s wedding, affectionately known as RakStar. We definitely get some great outtakes, and we do some cool effects, so there is some of that here, but it’s just about that moment when they first see eachother on the day of the wedding. Short and sweet. Here’s what Rak has to say about the clip “Good stuff Eric! I cracked up at the noise effects to Mr. Fig tripping up. Looking fwd to the video! The night was such a blur and we don’t remember most of it. The Video will definitely help us remember a lot of the stuff we forgot. Thanks! -Rak” Enjoy, and congrats again Starla and Raktim!!!

HD Wedding Videographer

We’re proud to offer HD wedding video coverage to all our new clients. As with any new technology there needed to be some research done. There’s a lot that goes into selecting the right camera, from the quality of the image and sound, to the size and features we need to perform our job as creatively as always (if not more). I believe we found the right camera. It’s great in low light (for those dim receptions) and it fits nicely into our style and workflow. Plus the images are AMAZING!! Of course a camera is only as good as the guy operating it. Combined with our artistic and unique coverage, and our film style editing I think you’ll be thrilled. I know I am. Creative Unlimited, now available in HD!!!

Wedding at The Imperia in Somerset

We had a great wedding this past weekend right in our neighborhood at the Imperia on Easton of Somerset, NJ.  The bride, Faith, was getting ready just across the street from our office at the Double Tree Hotel.  The groom, Ed, at their home 3 minutes away.  I was with Faith, and Rahim was capturing the guys getting ready.Faith was very laid back and when I arrived they were watching Panic Room.  I got them caught up on the finer points of the film, being that my memory for movies is amazingly detailed and accurate, haha.

The ceremony was at the historic Kirkpatrick Chapel in New Brunswick, and it was an interfaith Christian and Jewish wedding, with my favorite Rabbi Tobin.  The ceremony went really well, one of the bridesmaids sang a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria,  opera style, very sweet.  The only “outtake” moment came when one of the groomsmen realized a little too late that the runner hadn’t gone up the aisle, and so about halfway up the aisle he met up with Faith and her Dad.  The look on his face was priceless, haha, but they were able to maneuver around him, and I’m sure it will be a story they’ll be sharing for many years, unfortunately for that groomsman, haha.

Afterwards we got some great shots on the church grounds with photographer Erica Lyn.  She was a lot of fun to work with and we worked off each other very well.  Faith and Ed were very open to being creative with some shots. That always helps. The reception followed at The Imperia in Somerset, just around the corner from our office.  You can’t ask for anything better than that.

The reception was a lot of fun, and there was plenty of great dance footage.  We captured a very sweet moment with Faith’s Grandparents dancing to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Wow, 50 years. Her grandparents are so cute together, I honestly got choked up watching them hold each other and dance by their table. Her grandfather got to me, cause he was getting emotional too. Really great to see love so strong so many years later.

Faith and Ed were out on the dance floor a lot.  Always a good idea at your own wedding 🙂 I was able to grab them for one quick effect shot in the Imperia lobby using their beautiful staircase for a Stop-Motion effect. At the end of the night there was a Candy Buffet featuring some favorites like gummy bears, peanut butter cups, whoppers, hershey’s kisses, and I’m clearly getting too detailed about the candy, but I enjoyed bagging some up for later, as did the other guests.  It was demolished, haha.  Mmmm.  Congrats Faith and Ed on a beautiful wedding.
