The Bridgewater Manor Wedding of Anna and Juan

Anna and Juan are definitely a unique couple. This was Juan’s 2nd marriage, and from speaking with him a few times I could tell he learned a lot from mistakes made in his first marriage, and I could tell he was going to go above and beyond for Anna, including giving her a beautiful wedding. So, they booked us for Photography as well as videography. At first they just got 1 cam coverage but upgraded to 2 cam video when we got closer to the wedding for better coverage. They stuck with 1 photographer, and for their smaller wedding it was more than enough. Since Juan wasn’t interested in having a videographer with him getting ready, we all started with Anna at their home.

She was in excellent spirits and the girls were in full swing finishing up hair and makeup when we arrived. One of my favorite shots was the candy land characters holding their wedding bands.

The Ceremony was St. Francis Episcopal Church in Dunellen NJ, featuring a harpist Anna chose, and the reception followed at the Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater NJ, with a live mariachi band during cocktail hour and sombreros gallore including as centerpieces to celebrate Juan’s Mexican heritage. Everyone had an awesome time and you can see the videos and photos below.

The Meadow Wood Manor Wedding of Alejandra and Chris

How could you not be happy for these two? They’re absolutely sweet together, and young love can be a beautiful and passionate thing. Alejandra and Chris were having a daytime wedding at the Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph NJ and we’re so thankful they booked with us to capture it. I enjoyed them from the moment we met, and I think chemistry is always an important thing between a client and their vendor. You don’t want somebody annoying on your day, right?

It was one camera coverage and I started with Alejandra. She had family in from South America, so the house was full of commotion. I was focused on the loads of Wedding Planning books lining the shelves in her room, haha. Does anyone ever buy Marriage Books, or do we all assume we’re pros at it? 😉

I met up with Chris and the groomsmen at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hackettstown NJ. I think Alejandra’s favorite outtake is her sticking out her tongue at her family after the vows in excitement, haha. Then it was off to the reception hall for some fantastic cocktail hour food, and a great party. Now some people think that you can’t party in the daytime, as though the sun weakens our dancing ability, but these guys had an amazing time. It’s really about the music and the crowd. Throw in some great latin dances, and people that really KNOW how to dance, and you can’t help but have a good time whether it’s bright out or very dimly lit.

The Madison Hotel Wedding of Kristina and Matt

Kristina and Matt were such a joy on their wedding day. They booked us for 1 wedding photographer plus 2 wedding videographers. Steve and Dave started with Kristina and the girls, while Rob started with Matt and the guys capturing everyone getting ready. The couple did their first reveal in front of their home, before heading to downtown Cranford NJ by the train station for some fun shots with the bridal party and their families.

It was a beautiful church ceremony, followed by a blast of a reception at the Madison Hotel in Morristown NJ.

The South Gate Manor Greek Wedding of Politimi and Nicholas

Politimi (Pauline) and Nicholas didn’t want the typical Greek Orthodox wedding day coverage, they wanted someone who knew the customs but was going to create something unique, creative and fun to watch. They booked with us for our wedding cinematography and photography so they got the best of both worlds. Steven and I started with Politimi and the girls at her parents home in Toms River NJ. Dave and Amanda were with Nick and the guys at his parents home, also in Toms River. We met up at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church for the ceremony, which was followed by some big family portraits at the church. The bridal party stopped over at Georgian Court University for some great shots, and some nice ones of the couple too, and then it was off to the South Gate Manor in Freehold NJ for an awesome reception complete with a Greek Band, money flying in the air, balancing shots on foreheads, and a big viennese dessert hour at the end. The Eagle Oaks Country Club Wedding of Jaclyn and Patrick

Jaclyn and Patrick met for their wedding at Jaclyn’s parents home near Avon NJ where we then took bridal party and family photos. The ceremony was at St. Elizabeth Church of Hungary in Avon NJ. Then it was off to the Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale NJ for some more shots of the couple on the beautiful grounds. A rocking reception followed with Mission Dance Band kicking the party into high gear. Gorgeous couple and a truly beautiful day. Check out the clips from their wedding below:
