The Black Bass Hotel Wedding of Kelly and Robert

Kelly contacted me about 2 months before her wedding after deciding she wanted it captured on video. To keep costs down they just wanted Raw footage, but we’re lucky they upgraded to a highlights edit a few months later because we now have this awesome wedding video highlights to share. As I was at another event this was captured by my shooter Pete, and he did a beautiful job. Kelly wrote to say it was beyond what she expected, and that everyone LOVES it!

Their day was all at the Black Bass Hotel in Lumberville, PA. Kelly got ready at the hotel, and shared how she and Robert met on plentyoffish.com, and how Robert knew on their first date she was the one! She also read some of the VERY sweet love notes Robert wrote on the bottom of her shoes. This was the 2nd marriage for them both, and they did it in style with a lovely outdoor ceremony, and a vintage band for the reception. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple.

The Stroudmoor Country Inn Wedding of Charlotte and Robert

Charlotte and Robert got ready at the Stroudsmoor Inn in Stroudsburg PA. I was filming another wedding that day, so my guys Dave and Rob were on site for video, while Millie and German were our photographers. After getting ready the gang took a Trolley over to St. Matthews Church for the ceremony. Since Charlotte is Filipino there were some Filipino traditions included in the ceremony from an exchange of special coins, to sponsors putting placing a veil and a cord around the couple to symbolize their union.

After the ceremony it was back to the Stroudsmoor Inn for some shots with the bridal party and family. We thought it was interesting that Charlotte wanted 2 reveal moments, the more traditional walking down the aisle shot, but then also a 2nd reveal at the Stroudsmoor where she walks up behind Robert. The reception was a lot of fun but one of the highlights were the speeches especially Charlotte’s dad’s speech which was truly emotional and had many in tears.

The Meredith Manor Wedding of Lindsey and Eric

Everything for Lindsey and Eric’s wedding took place at The Meredith Manor in Pottstown PA, and I was glad to be there to help them celebrate. I like a unique location, and all the wood in the room where Lindsey got dressed made for a very natural and pretty backdrop. The grounds at this location are gorgeous with plenty of flowers and greenery, and thankfully the weather was beautiful too.

The couple met before the ceremony for portraits with the bridal party and family. The ceremony was outdoors and the guests walked a lovely path to get there. THe great thing about an outdoor ceremony is it’s often short and to the point, but you can really put your own personal touches on it. You kind of have to choose from bible readings at a church, but here you can read a poem, or a passage from a book, or even some lines from a film. They wrote their own vows and there’s nothing more personal, or touching than that.

The reception was in a tent just outside the main building, and guests mingled outside by the bar. This crew really knew how to party and just rocked that tent till the end of the night when Lindsey and Eric took off in their limo. I don’t always see that part, but there was the limo, just outside the tent to carry them off. They are a very sweet and loving couple and that makes for a great wedding and an beautiful marriage.

Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to 2010, a new year, and things are already looking up. Turns out we made about the same, even a tiny bit more in 2009 than we did in 2008, even with the economy in a slump. I think offering some really basic unedited packages (for those on stricter budgets) helped, but more than anything I think our commitment to delivering amazing work and service EVERY TIME really brought in the business through referrals.

I just want to thank our past clients for allowing us to be a part of their day, and for continuously and STRONGLY recommending us to their friends, family, coworkers, strangers on the Knot and other sites, people on the streets, haha. It was a pleasure working with you, and I’m truly happy that you felt the same. I wish everyone the best in 2010 for a happy, healthy and successful year. Thanks for making 2009 great, and let’s hope 2010 is great for all of us. So far so good 😉
