Amy and Mike (Mexico) at Dreams Tulum

I filmed Amy’s sister Meghan’s wedding a couple of years ago, and the family absolutely loved it, so as soon as Amy was planning her wedding her mom Susan contacted me about it. I was fortunate enough to join this amazing family in Mexico for a truly special wedding. Amy and Mike and a small group of their family and friends celebrated their wedding at the Dreams Resort in Tulum Mexico on December 4th 2009.

I started out with Mike and the guys hanging by the pool, and then caught up with the girls at the salon getting their hair and makeup done, tropical style, nice 😉 The weather was just perfect and the ceremony was set on the beach. Immediately following we got some beautiful footage on the beach just as the sun was setting, and the reception followed during which several great speeches were made including one you’ll hear part of in the Highlights from Amy’s dad. You’ll see Mike’s dad threatening to throw a football at me from the pool in the getting ready video, haha.

I also filmed a local NJ ceremony, before the Mexico trip, and reception in Philadelphia PA after. Laura Lea and the Tripp Fabulous band were playing at the reception in River Club at the Manayunk Brewery. Awesome band, and a very unique and intimate setting for Amy and Mike to celebrate with even more friends and family. Fortunately I get to see them all again as I film another sister, MaryKate’s wedding this year. Congrats Amy and Mike on a beautiful wedding and the start of what I know will be a happy and blessed life together.

Here’s what they had to say after watching their DVD:
“Hi Eric…. We LOVE it!!!! it is even better than we ever dreamed and all I want to do is keep watching it! You are incredible at what you do and we are soo lucky that we had you there to film our special days:) Thank you so much, words really can’t express how much we love this video. The Mexico piece is unbelievable and we can’t wait to show the rest of the family.

Thanks you for all your hard work. We will totally write a review for you although I don’t know if we can really express in words how amazing your work is 🙂

Have a great summer & see you at Marykate’s wedding!
Amy”

Toni and Kyle – Pennsylvania Wedding Videographer

We were all the way out in Johnstown PA for Kyle and Toni’s wedding. Kyle is Chris’s brother, one of our editors, so of course Chris recommended us. As an editor for Fox and other tv stations, it was a huge compliment that he told his family they HAD to hire me, and that I was the best videographer he knows in the area. Wow, thanks man, that means a lot since you work for broadcast too. Of course he also wanted this one to edit, and he did an amazing job as usual. I arrived on Friday night, just before a huge snow storm, thankfully. The next morning the ground was covered in a beautiful thick blanket of snow. Toni said it was her dream to have snow on her wedding day, so dreams do come true.

I started with the guys and girls getting ready. To my surprise Toni was a little pregnant, just a smidge 😉 This was no shotgun wedding though, this couple was a fated match, meeting on the job at the YMCA. Kyle a swim instructor, and Toni working the office. They used to watch each other through the window between the office and the pool, creepily according to each of them, haha. Then the movie nights started, and before they knew it, they were in love. Cue the romantic music 😉 They came in to do interviews for their StoryTeller Edit, so this is how I know so much, very in depth questions and recommended by our editor Chris.

It was a real pleasure to be a part of their day, and great to hang out with Chris and meet his wife and daughter. The Ceremony was lovely, and the shots we got afterwards, although very cold, were beautiful, including by the World’s Steepest Vehicular Incline plane (taking cars up the mountain). A very sweet couple, and a truly fun wedding. I know I say that a lot, but I guess that just makes me lucky. My clients are the coolest.
