The South Gate Manor Greek Wedding of Politimi and Nicholas

Politimi (Pauline) and Nicholas didn’t want the typical Greek Orthodox wedding day coverage, they wanted someone who knew the customs but was going to create something unique, creative and fun to watch. They booked with us for our wedding cinematography and photography so they got the best of both worlds. Steven and I started with Politimi and the girls at her parents home in Toms River NJ. Dave and Amanda were with Nick and the guys at his parents home, also in Toms River. We met up at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church for the ceremony, which was followed by some big family portraits at the church. The bridal party stopped over at Georgian Court University for some great shots, and some nice ones of the couple too, and then it was off to the South Gate Manor in Freehold NJ for an awesome reception complete with a Greek Band, money flying in the air, balancing shots on foreheads, and a big viennese dessert hour at the end. Cristina and Ted’s L’Affaire Catering Wedding

Cristina and Ted came to us a few months before their wedding and booked photography and videography. The ceremony and reception were at L’Affaire Catering in Mountainside, NJ. Tim, Dave and I started at the Grand Summit Hotel where Cristina and the girls were already underway with hair and makeup. Soon the Ted and the guys showed up as well, and we got some great footage of them both, including a sneak peak at the original wedding vows Ted wrote for Cristina.

Then it was off to a park near the catering hall for some fun shots of the bridal party and the bride and groom. The ceremony was short and sweet featuring some Filipino wedding traditions such as the coins, the veil, and the cord. Immediately after, Tim and Dave got some more family shots while I got to work editing the Same Day Highlights we would be showing at the reception that night. Dave bumped up to main, and Rob took over as 2nd for the rest of the evening. The reception was a great time, and you can check out photos and video clips of their day here. Congrats again Cristina and Ted!!

Professional Wedding Guild

Creative Unlimited attended and filmed the Professional Wedding Guild meeting held at Vanity Fair in Lakewood NJ. It was an opportunity to network with other wedding professionals in the area and show off some of our work. There was also a nice presentation by James Ardito from Perfect Wedding Guide about current marketing trends, and nice free lunch from Vanity Fair. It was great to see some familiar faces, DJs, florists, limos, makeup artists, photographers, videographers and even an Elvis Impersonator. Check out these 2 promo clips we created for the event, and please, forgive me for looking ridiculous on video, I’m used to being behind the camera, haha.

My girlfriend Abbie and I headed out to Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown, NJ for the day. I’m really glad she’s willing to model for me, she’s beautiful. I like to try new things and play with photography, as it’s important to experiment and stay sharp. Also, I take some shots we’ve done in the past at weddings so we have some really beautiful shots for our own personal album, haha. Another great day, and some more fun photos.
